Liquefied petroleum gas and wheelchair space Caddy Maxi

The VW Caddy Maxi is ideally suited for transporting wheelchairs. In addition to the generous wheelchair space, this vehicle offers seating for 5 other people (incl. the driver) on the original seats. If the wheelchair space isn’t occupied, the back bench can be inserted again and consequently the car becomes a 7-seater again. We offer this vehicle in three different versions. 1) VW Caddy Maxi Life with standard cutout approx. 1400 mm long. 2) VW Caddy Maxi Life with ULTRA-cutout. The cutout for the wheelchair can be extended optionally to a total of approx.1800 mm; there is then also space here for overlong medical wheelchairs. 3) VW Caddy Maxi Life (petrol engine) with standard cutout and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). A large liquid gas tank below the vehicle also has space here in addition to the stainless steel fuel tank. The interior of the vehicle remains complete without any restrictions. The efficiency is greatly increased.

The conversion cannot be recognised from the outside. The loading ramp stands upright in the rear, ends below the window edge for an open backwards view and is absolutely firmly secured through a special locking system. The bumper is installed again slightly shortened. All necessary belts are included in the scope of delivery.
The vehicle can continue to be used as a 7-seater if no wheelchair is transported.

Electro-hydraulic drop frame over rocket switch to make it even easier to push in the wheelchair. The ramp can be electrically raised and lowered upon request by means of a remote control. Additional belt systems for the wheelchair user, head rests to attach on the ramp, cable winches to push in an extra heavy wheelchair. Park distance checks for lowering vehicles. Conversion to multi- functional vehicle for horizontal and wheelchair transport.

Naturally, we also offer the VW Caddy Estate or Life short wheelbase as a wheelchair vehicle in tried and tested quality.

Of course, vans and Crafters can also be used as wheelchair buses.
For this purpose we equip the vehicles with loading ramps, lift systems, wheelchair supports, etc. We have driving aids for people driving themselves/ active drivers for all VW models in our range. The scope of delivery includes here, among others: wheelchair draw-in systems, rotating / swivel seats, hand operating devices for accelerator and brake, anti-skid ramps, wiper and direction-indicator controls laying, seat rail extensions and much more.
