Hearse T5, Coffin transporter

The VW T5 as hearse / coffin transporter provides maximum reliability, safety and functionality. More than 50 years of experience in the construction of hearses combined with practical know-how of many undertakers have resulted in fully developed design concepts.

On designing and constructing the VW 75 / Crafter hearses / coffin transporters, observance of guidelines is elf-evident. This guarantees highest quality and safety standards.

Portal frame extension: trunk opening 1530 mm by lowering the rear lights and extending the rear wall flap sides. Massive baroque coffins can be placed easily alongside each other and do not have to be positioned head to foot: jumbo opening.

Coffin section – interior fittings:
- reinforced dividing wall, secure steel frame for interior fitting
- Upper section of the dividing wall and inside of the curtain screen in root nut design, fitted outside with velour in vertical folds (also available as stream form) in the colour of your choice
- Sliding floor and lower section of walls with special steel V2A ‚leather grain’
- Original VW interior sky, 6 halogen lamps integrated
- manual lifting floor system: 1-/ 2- coffin structure with light sliding/lifting floor system (also available as electrical system)
or raised floor system: 1-/ 2- coffin structure, can be fitted with dual sliding platform, rear lowering up to max. 180 mm via liftmatic axle.

Ample storage space under the loading floor for e.g.: Ferno-carrier, scissor-form carrier, undertaker’s case etc. accessible via the side sliding door, coffin placement flap, hoop guard can improve or alleviate work.

VW T5 with panorama glazing

For special requirements we provide an individual panorama glazing which gives the T5 an exclusive appearance. The pane form of the glazing can be selected. A storage room flap on the right side of the vehicle enables access to the spacious underfloor trunk.

Short wheel base (3000 mm) provides ideal preconditions for a hearse / coffin transporter on account of its dimensions.
