Product description and Features

Conversion of all VW Caddy and VW Caddy Maxi 1.6l SI-engine (75 kW) models for bivalent operation on liquefied petroleum gas/gasoline with underfloor tank.

The conversion concept was developed in consultation with Volkswagen AG giving consideration to all safety-relevant criteria and the possibility of unrestricted vehicle use.

Manufacturer’s Warranty / Liability for Defects

The vehicle retains the manufacturer’s warranty after conversion. The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover engine damage resulting from gas-powered operation. In this case, the conversion equipment manufacturer gives a warranty on the engine as well as on the LPG system.

Volkswagen Certificate of Compliance

As a manufacturer of liquefied-gas systems for the VW Caddy, we will provide a certificate of compliance from the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Development division (currently in preparation).

We are the only converters to use a Volkswagen-AG-approved gas-tight cylinder head for the LPG mode.

What You Should Know

As the world’s leading engineering provider to the automotive industry, we have been dedicated for over 18 years to developing drives fueled by compressed natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas for mass production and for installation in existing vehicles (over 100,000 vehicles worldwide, as at 12/2010). As a Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM), we possess comprehensive precision knowledge of the entire vehicle as the prerequisite for optimum gas-system integration in consideration of the interfaces and influencing factors involved.

Based on our many years of experience and close partnership-style cooperation with Volkswagen AG, we have consistently and continuously improved the quality, safety, efficiency and reliability of the gas-powered drive, making us one of today’s leading, recommended and award-winning providers.

Our safety concept for the LPG or CNG system gives you the assurance of safe operation. We shall continue to be at the disposal of all Volkswagen customers with expert support and service in the future too.
