Disabled transport vehicle VW Caddy Maxi

The Caddy Maxi is ideally suited for transporting wheelchair users. A special advantage of the Maxi is the possibility to mount the box for the wheelchair place behind the second row of seats. Apart from the wheelchair user up to 5 other persons have space in the Caddy Maxi, depending on the type of wheelchair. The third row of seats can be mounted optionally instead of the wheelchair. Without transporting a wheelchair the Caddy Maxi can also be used as a converted vehicle for 7 people.

This variability characterises the vehicle for taxi services and charity organisations as well as a private vehicle to transport relatives in a wheelchair.

The conversion is not noticeable from the outside. The loading ramp stands vertical in the rear, ends below the window edge for a clear view to the rear and is absolutely firmly secured through a special lock. The bumper is attached again slightly shortened. All necessary belts to adhere to DIN 78078 are included in the scope of delivery.

Electro-hydraulic drop frame over rocker switch for even easier entrance for the wheelchair. In the short Caddy the 2-seater bench is folded back. The single seat in the vehicle can be used by an attendant.
